This original Playboy 4506 was handmade in Austria by Optyl – the legendary eyewear manufacturer behind some of the era’s most extravagant and recognizable frames.
The Xsmall butterfly silhouette is unmistakably late ’70s, crafted in translucent champagne-gold Optyl with deep burgundy detailing and softly tinted rose gradient lenses. Signature Playboy Bunny plaques at the temples complete the design.
Bold, glamorous and unapologetically decadent – eyewear from an era when sunglasses were designed to be noticed.
An increasingly rare piece of European eyewear history, preserved in beautiful vintage condition.
