Where is the store located?
We are located at Köpmangatan 3 in Gamla Stan, Stockholm, on the city’s oldest and first-named street, dating back to 1323.
What are your hours of operation?
Normally, Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. On Sundays, we are open by appointment only. Opening hours may vary depending on holidays, vacation periods, and other factors.
Please note: We serve only one customer or group at a time, so please make an appointment if you want to be sure you won’t have to wait. We may also be out running errands or attending meetings, in which case the store will be temporarily closed.
Do you perform eye exams?
No, not here in the store. However, we work with well-known independent opticians optician —not chain stores—who perform the eye exams for us. You can also bring your own prescription if you’re satisfied with the prescription strength.
Can I book my own appointment and try it out at my own pace?
Yes. We offer private shopping, where you have the store and our personalized service all to yourself.
Can I order frames with my own lenses?
For many frames, you can select PRESCRIPTION lenses directly when placing your order, including both single-vision and progressive lenses. For progressive lenses, you'll need to visit the store for a custom fitting.
You can also bring your favorite existing frames to us to have new prescriptions fitted into them.
What payment methods can I use?
Credit cards, including American Express; Klarna (with options to pay now, pay later, or split the payment); as well as PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. You can also choose to pick up your order and pay in-store.
How much is shipping?
We offer free shipping within Sweden. If you'd like faster delivery, DHL and express shipping are available for a fee. We also ship outside of Sweden.
What brands do you sell?
We hand-select collections from exciting brands such as DuCloux, Brunello Cucinelli, and Thom Browne, as well as more well-known ones such as Cartier, Dita, Oliver Peoples, Persol, Saint Laurent, Tom Ford, Ray-Ban, Gucci, Prada , and Le Specs.
We also enjoy supporting our local Swedish brands, such as Vasuma —our dear neighbors here in Gamla Stan—as well as E&E. You can find the entire selection at Brands.
Can I bring in my own glasses to sell?
Yes. We accept carefully selected vintage —as well as high-quality, secondhand frames in good condition—and only items that we ourselves like. We appraise and price the frames, photograph them in a professional studio, and display them both in the store and in our online shop.
