SAVILE ROW BEAUFORT – VINTAGE 14K ROLLED GOLD
An exceptional vintage example of British eyewear craftsmanship. The Savile Row Beaufort was handmade at the legendary Algha Works in London, where fine rolled-gold spectacles had been produced since 1932.
The Beaufort is one of Savile Row’s most iconic designs – famously worn by Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones. A vintage 14K Beaufort Panto worn by Ford in Raiders of the Lost Ark was later sold at auction for $17,920.
This vintage example is crafted in 14K Rolled Gold and comes with its matching 18K Rolled Gold sun clip with classic brown lenses.
Savile Row and Algha Works represent a remarkable chapter in British eyewear history. The London workshop produced frames for generations of cultural icons, with its eyewear associated with names including John Lennon, The Beatles and Harrison Ford.
A rare collector’s piece combining traditional British craftsmanship, cinematic history and timeless design.
