Persol est une marque italienne de lunettes et l'une des plus anciennes entreprises de lunetterie au monde. Son nom vient de l'expression italienne « per il sole », qui signifie « pour le soleil ».
Fondée en 1917 par Giuseppe Ratti, l'Persol , à l'origine, s'adressait aux pilotes et aux conducteurs sportifs.
Persol La marque a fait son entrée aux États-Unis en 1962 et a ouvert sa première boutique sur Rodeo Drive, à Beverly Hills, en 1991.
