Persol ist eine italienische Brillenmarke und gehört zu den ältesten Brillenherstellern der Welt. Der Name leitet sich vom italienischen Ausdruck „per il sole“ ab, was „für die Sonne“ bedeutet.
Persol , das 1917 von Giuseppe Ratti gegründet wurde, versorgte ursprünglich Piloten und Rennfahrer mit Fahrzeugen.
Persol wurde 1962 in den USA eingeführt und eröffnete 1991 seine erste Filiale auf dem Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
